Unforgettable Experience: The Best Vacation

 On one fine day about 4 years ago, my family and I planned to get a couple days off to go for holiday. Actually at that time, my family and I haven’t moved to Semarang yet and we were still in Medan. Our plan was to go to Malaysia and Singapore for 5 days. We chose Malaysia & Singapore because it was quite close from Medan. Honestly, it was my first flight to go abroad and I was so excited at that time. So did my brother and my sister.

                Our trip began from Medan and flew to Kualalumpur by plane. It took about an hour to get there and there was an hour time difference between Medan and Malaysia. When we  got there, we visited The Petronas Tower or what people usually called as Twin Tower. I was so amazed when I saw that skyscraper tower, it was a huge and luxurious building. Unfortunately, it was raining at that time. Other places that we visited in Malaysia was National Museum and Genting Highland. Genting Highland was a place like Dufan in Jakarta but the temperature there was so cold. We could reach Genting by bus about an hour. We decided to spend 2 days there and went to Singapore from Kualalumpur by train.

                First day in Singapore we visited Merlion Park and Esplanade. Merlion Statue  was the icon of Singapore. Many people took some photos there. Another places that we visited in Singapore was Singapore Zoo, The Bay, Chinatown, Orchard Road and Sentosa Island.  Sentosa Island is an island near Batam, it has many recreation places such as Marine Life Park, Songs of The Sea, Casino, Hotel, Beaches and Universal Studios Singapore. We entered to USS and it was great. Inside USS, we can imagine ourselves in 7 difference places. There were Hollywood, New York, Far Far Away of Shrek, The Lost World, Science Fiction City, Madagascar and Ancient of Egypt. We could take some photos  or even bought some souvenirs there. I think, a day in Sentosa Island wasn’t enough to explore everything.        

                Singapore was the end of our trip. We went back to Medan from Singapore. I was so happy and excited at that time. I think that was my unforgettable experience I ever had,first time to go abroad and spend holiday with my lovely family there. Although it was only 5 days,but it will never be forgotten.
