aNIK rOSITA / eLEMENTARY 3/
(THE WINNER OF
ELEMENTARY LEVEL)
When I was a child, I loved to play many games, such as
Pancit, Patuk Lele, Engklak, etc. However, I often played Pancit. Pancit is one
of childhood traditional games from Jambi province. It is more familiar in
Indonesia with petak umpet (hide and seek). It can be played by at least 2
people. But if you play more with more than 2 people, it will be more exciting.
It’s easy. Starting by
doing “hompimpa”, Then after there are only two players, they must play “suit” (to
determine who is the seeker and the looser is the seeker). Next, the seeker
must close his eyes and turn around while counting to 10 (he must face a wall,
tree or whatever so he doesn’t see his friend, this case called Pancit).
Next, the seeker must
find his friend from hiding.
It’s easy and fun, right? You have to try
this game. I like this game very much. But I don’t know, if I play this game
why I always be the looser
