been collected since the previous two weeks. Assistance in the form of goods
and cash that has accumulated over the participation of a large family of LIA
Semarang Candi Semarang consisting of students, parents, teachers and staff. The total of donations amounted
Rp.16.153.300. It would be distributed to
orphanages Al - Rifdah Multiple Disabilities, Semarang. The Orphanage was founded in 2006 is an orphanage that
housed orphans with special needs multiple disabilities, the physically and mentally.
Most of them suffered total paralysis, unable
to
hear and speak or walk, and some of them also suffer from autism and Down
syndrome. Currently there are about 24 children who live at the orphanage .
LIA Visits Orphanage
Care in 2013 to Al - Rifdah Semarang is implemented as one of the annual CSR
program as evidence of social concern of
LBPP
LIA Semarang Candi Semarang and the surrounding communities. Not only the teachers
and staff who participated in this visit, but some students also come to show their concern and sympathy. The weather was
overcast and a little rainy in the afternoon did not deter them to share the
love with these children. Ibu Rahma, the founder and owner of the orphanage welcomed LBPP LIA Semarang Candi warmly and invited them to enter and see the condition of
the orphanage and the children who live in this place.
By interacting
directly with them, teachers, staff, and students can also feel what they are
feeling with all the limitations that they have. However, despite their limitations, they
looked happy and enthusiatic, even clearly reflected in their faces. The children
seemed very happy with the new clothes (which is directly used ) and new toys
that they got. They are very easy
to get along with visitors who come, they shook hand and asked to
take pictures together. They were very entertained by a clown with magic game
deliberately brought in and some songs to
entertain them.
However, the joy of these children had to end as soon as the time went by since some
teachers had to be back to teach. Mr Bambang Sulistyo, Kacab LIA
Semarang Candi handed over in the form of goods and cash to the owners of homes.
The memory of this moment, their enthusiasm and excitement, as well as the
cheerful faces of the children accompanied the teachers, staff, and students on their way home. This has added to
our gratitude to God with everything given.
We hope that this LIA CSR 2013 will continue
to be held regularly and hopefully there will be more kids like this that can take the benefits. We
also hope that there would more companies and privileged people who would share
to those unfortunate ones.
