A Night At A Camp

This is my unforgettable experience when I was in the first great at SMA (Senior High School). I joined health extracurricular program. And I was being senior when I finished my last test. The test was held when I had holiday. The entire member planned to hold the camp at Tinjomolyo. Tinjojomoyo used to be a zoo, now it turned to be a camp. To join the camp, we must get a lot of money, so my friends, my senior and I tried to look for money from school, from the members, from baksos—a kind of social activity. We did everything that made me so tired because it’s just once in the blue moon.

The day finally came. When I prepared all that I need in that morning, I felt so in the pink. Why? Because I really waited for this moment. I went to school early morning we (me and the entire member) went to the place with not feasible bus. Yes we just looked for a good bus, but the money spent to book the camp and food also. I prayed in the bus. Sometimes it made me blue in the face because the driver lost control.

When we arrived in the camp, all the member prepared tents, a place to cook, a place to pray, etc. we just got time for 40 minutes and five minutes to take a new cloth (uniform). I was bit green to be in nature, what I meant was working in this place. This place was like a forest. Monkeys were everywhere, ants, ouh, it made me blue in the face.

I was thinking that my senior would give us, the juniors, a red carpet, but I was totally wrong. My seniors saw red when my friend came late. I really hated it. It was until night. At the night, my entire senior came and gave me and my friends some signs to do something. We were divided into 4 groups and every group went to some places. I felt white with terror when some shadows came and went. I knew that my senior threw me at the grave. I also heard gamelan orchestra I felt blue in the face because I guessed it was ghost. But after that, I laughed and relax because the gamelan turned to dangdut music.

During the camp, I turned green with envy because my senior just had fun and I must do everything. However, in the end I knew that it’s so wonderful because my friends and senior made me so great, was really in the pink with this condition. I learned a lot of good things about nature.
